Burger Theory was founded in Bristol by burger chef Rory Perriment via street food, festivals, weddings, private catering events and pop-ups.
In 2012 he started experimenting and discovered there are hundreds of ways you can make a burger other than the standard meat, tomato, onion and lettuce in a bap.
At Kongs, we met head chef Nick who completed the Burger Theory trio who run the company today. We finally secured our own site in January 2017 on St Stephen’s Street and after raising just over £6000 on Crowd Funder from you lovely lot, the doors to our first restaurant opened on 16th August 2017 and here we are!
After years of serving our creative burgers to our many wonderful customers at music festivals, food fairs, pop-ups and resident kitchens, on August 16th 2017 we opened the doors to our very own restaurant.
Slap bang in the middle of our beloved home town of Bristol, deservedly known as the “foody” capital of the UK. We are serving all of our classic burgers, as well as craft beers, cocktails, fresh juices, dirty fries, epic cheesecakes and more.
We’re family/Vege/Vegan-friendly as well so everyone is welcome to enjoy our easy going and relaxed new restaurant and if the sun is shining you can dine out on our terrace!
There will be events throughout the year such as The Bottomless Burger Club, craft beer paired taster menus and more. Check out our website and social media for times and dates. We look forward to seeing you…
Love from the creative burger people.
Psstt we also now have a Birmingham site – More info here.
